We put Vending Machines (VM) in popular places of the office employee. These VMs selling Portable Charging Boxes (PCB) and batteries.


As there is typically 30-50 positions (for small goods) in VM, then we have up to 50 varieties of VMs with different charging plugs. In fact, 50 types are even too many! If we look at World shares of mobile devices, then we havethe following plugs, typically – mini-USB, iPhone, old and new Nokia, old and new Samsung, some Alcatel, some LG, some BenQ and 2-3 types of anither popular devices in the region. In result – we have less than 20 types.


How this PCB look likes? Box for putting in several regular batteries, then there is a cable 1-2 inches length and corresponding plug. As you see – device is quite simple, and with mass production we have cost of this far less than 1 USD.


Next question – batteries. Typical voltage for charging mobile device is 4 to 6 Volt. So, if we use AAA batteries, we may sell just a set of 4x batteries. As the task is to charge mobile somehow for urgent 20-30 minutes chat, then these batteries can be some low quality or most simple of any available.


Places:

· In parks, which are near offices (where people walking in lunch time),

· in cafes which are on the way to main business offices in the city,

· on gas stations

· on bus stops


Values:

· Help to the People (important calls with friends or neighbors are never missed),

· Help to the Nature (re-cycle plastic for PCBs and/or re-used batteries),

· Supporting in being Always on-line (cheap and convenient service)



Advertisement opportunities:

· Print advertisement on surface of VM,

· Electronic advertisement (script over Bluetooth), which ensures that advertisement is watching till the end. Usage of this – discount or free of charge offer of PCB and/or Set of Batteries.

· Added Value for any advertisement by introducing Care for Nature. This should be advertized and popularized!

· Added Value for any advertisement by introducing High-Tech. Something fresh, compare to generic print advertisement – in ideology. Can be animation and even small movie – from technical point of view.


Second Solution


We put Specific Power Supply System (SPPS) in places, where are always some personnel to control it safety. This SPPS represents some box, similar to ATM, which have the set of cables with various types of plugs for different mobile devices. There we have same set of cables (mini-USB, iPhone, old and new Nokia, old and new Samsung, some Alcatel, some LG, some BenQ and 2-3 types of anither popular devices in the region), but these are 10-20 inches length.


So, then it’s possible to sell service of charging for some small amount (must be less than 1 USD). However, better solution is to demonstrate some advertisement! Income can be even more than 1 USD, but end-user contrary accept this as something free of charge.


Places - same as in the First Solution. SPPS can be placed near the group of public phones and in place where always crowdie.


Values - same as in the First Solution. Help to nature may be reached by using re-used plastic for SPPS and using re-chargeable battery (may be some old from trucks) to charge it at night and then use during day-time for charging mobile devices, without consumption of deficit day-time electricity.

So, after brief examination, any interested professional can calculate, that for typical transaction we have cost about 0,5 -0,9 USD and price about 2-3 USD. Profitability about 400%! Sounds sweet, isn’t it?



There of course we have some spends on place rent, salary for some technical service guy, taxes, some content fees and so on. But, there is still a chance to have at least 100% profitability. Depends on your management abilities.
